This book is from the Relate range which focuses on relationships. This guide is from people who have come out of a relationship and want direction on how to approach moving forwards.

This book is split into 3 parts: the end of a relationship, working on yourself and starting again.

The first part has some very interesting chapters including one focused on the grieving process of the end of a relationship. I find this very relevant to my own/clients processing of when relationships end and also includes short case studies of how this looks.

I also feel the second part of focusing on your self particularly helpful as it has emphasis on using the end of a relationship to focus on your individual wants and need which may have been cast aside from being in a couple.

I would recommend this book to my clients, also to counsellors whom work with relationships/ individuals experiencing relationship loss.

4/5
