About
services
01.

This free half an hour assessment is used to find out whether we both are comfortable working with one another. We will go over our working agreement, the reasons for coming to counselling, and go over some background history. You may also choose to undertake an evaluation of where you are now (tick box assessment), which can be used to track your progress in therapy over the length of your journey.

02.

Each session is one hour in length. in this session you are free to bring anything you want to discuss and dive into. Being non-directive, I will sit along side wherever you wish to take us.  As a counsellor I offer you my honesty and respect while we explore issues you feel you would like to bring to counselling. I will not give you advice, however we can work together to find your own answers. This means you are empowered to discover solutions to issues in a supportive environment.

03.

It is good practice to have a review in every 6th session to appraise how our work has been together. The review should take no longer then 20 minutes within your session. It is also important when ending our work together to have a ‘closing’ session. Endings are important to not only work towards but to discuss your process and to review your goals.
